This auction is open to all in 2026. The auction offers the opportunity to bid on and secure a week at a great price.
Bidding will be online via The Craigendarroch Owners’ Club auction website and to ensure fairness, bids cannot be received in any other manner.
The process is straightforward and the resale and associated administration will be handled by the Hilton Grand Vacations (“HGV”) resales and sales administration departments on behalf of The Craigendarroch Owners’ Club (the “Club”). The successful bidder will be required to sign a Resales Purchase Agreement and when the contract is closed, the associated Holiday Certificate will be issued.
Lodges for Auction
The purpose of the auction is to offer a selection of weeks/lodges to current members of the Club or new members who want to enjoy holidays at Craigendarroch and who like a bargain!
The highest bidder will secure the week. If planning to bid on more than one Lot, please remember that you are committing to purchase each week, should you present the highest bid on any.
There will also be the option to “Buy It Now”, this applies to weeks available in traditionally low season periods or where we have several weeks to sell.
Why the lodges are being auctioned?
The weeks/lodges listed for auction are costing the Club money due to lapsed payments. Selling these weeks* not only helps to reduce the debt and associated costs, but also helps maintain and build reserves to fund projects for all Craigendarroch Lodge Owners’ to enjoy.
*Under paragraph 12 of the Constitution, due to arrears of unpaid maintenance fees, the Committee is exercising its right to sell the associated Holiday Certificate of weeks listed for auction
Terms & Conditions
Before bidding please apply due diligence and ensure you have read and fully understand the following:
- The auction is a public auction.
- For 2026 occupancy, payment of the associated maintenance fee for each week purchased will be due beginning January 2026. If the successful bidder wishes to enrol the weeks into their HGV Club membership for HGVC ClubPoints beginning in 2027, the associated enrollment fee will be due at the time of purchase. The weeks being sold via auction are a resale interest and therefore do not qualify towards HGV Max benefits.
- For each lodge purchase there is an administrative fee of £195 payable to HGV at the time of purchase. This fee is per lodge/week.
- There are Saturday and Sunday changeover days associated with every lodge listed. The changeover day and next calendar occupancy date is detailed within each ‘Lot’ description.
- There is a link to the resort map which details the location of lodges. Please check this before submitting a bid.
- A holiday certificate will be issued to the member and will confer the legal right of occupation in accordance with and subject to the rules of the Club.
- The purchaser is required to become a member of the Club and must comply with the constitution and rules of the Club which include the requirement to pay annual maintenance charges.
Seller Rights
The Craigendarroch Owners’ Club reserve the following rights:
- To withdraw any ‘Lot’ from the auction.
- To pass the right to purchase to the next highest bidder should there be any terms of sale dispute.
- To pass the right to purchase to the next highest bidder should there be a bid submission error made by the successful bidder.
- To pass the right to purchase to the next highest bidder if the successful bidder/associated owner is not in good standing with the Club (maintenance fees).
- To pass the right to purchase to the next highest bidder if the successful bidder terminates the Purchase Agreement within 14 days of signing.
- Extend the auction for unsold weeks.
- All bids are provisional until accepted by the Club
Auction Day
The Craigendarroch Owners’ Club Lodge Auction starts at 10am (UK time) on Monday 15th June 2026 and finishes at 6pm (UK time) on Sunday 28th June 2026.
Please note: No late submissions due to technology or operator errors will be accepted.
The auction platform can be accessed via desktop, tablet or mobile device.
There is no reserve or guide price, the highest bidder of each ‘Lot’ will secure the lodge and week.
Once bidding has opened, Craigendarroch Lodge Owners’ can place bids via the Auction Bidding Form. Please check the details within the lodge description and do not submit a bid unless you are committing to purchase each particular Lot/lodge/week. Please note: all Lots will be treated separately and therefore if you bid on more than one Lot you are committing to purchase each Lot, should you present the highest bid on any.
To bid on a lodge is straightforward, you select the ‘Lot’ you wish to bid on from the drop down box and then complete the details requested, including your contact details.
Your name and details will remain anonymous to other bidders throughout the auction, and after the auction has finished.
If you (or your family member or close friend) submit a bid online, this website will collect the following personal information: name, email address, current lodge ownership details and bid amount for the sole purpose of conducting the auction. All of this information will be deleted from this website within a reasonable timescale after the auction period is complete. By submitting a bid online you must agree to this condition.
Winning bids
Winning Bid notifications will be emailed to the winners with the relevant lodge/s Purchase Agreement and payment details.
All bids are provisional until accepted by the Club
